The Partner Left Behind: Devon Graham spent nearly a decade surviving through deception alongside her boyfriend, Brett Armstrong, and their closest friend, Bailey. After leaving Henderson for Las Vegas, the three became a tightly knit team of con artists, moving from one scheme to the next and living on whatever money they could swindle. Over time, however, Devon and Brett drifted apart, and she became involved with Bailey instead.

Their partnership collapsed when Brett attempted to disappear with the money they had accumulated. A confrontation followed, and Bailey later plunged from the window of their Las Vegas hotel room. Brett fled into a quick marriage with Miranda Blackthorne to provide himself with an alibi, while Devon was left with both the loss of Bailey and the consequences of their criminal past.

Devon eventually followed Brett to Los Angeles and demanded her share of the money from their old cons. Her arrival threatened the respectable new identity Brett had created for himself as Miranda’s husband. She knew the truth about Rick Shiveley, the former strip-club busboy who had spent years cheating people alongside her, and Brett feared she would expose everything to Miranda.

When Brett was arrested for Bailey’s death, Devon appeared to hold the power. Instead, Brett and Miranda manipulated her into admitting that she had accidentally caused Bailey’s fatal fall during their struggle. The confession cleared Brett and sent Devon to prison, leaving her to pay for the violent end of a partnership from which Brett had already escaped.

Years later, Devon returned to Los Angeles after completing her sentence. Despite everything Brett had done to her, their shared past still connected them, and she soon became useful in his investigation of Bryan Jennings. Devon remembered seeing Bryan visit an inmate while she was incarcerated. Her information helped Brett uncover Bryan’s secret arrangement to secure cartel figure Ricardo Pacheco’s release from prison.

Devon attempted to obtain more information from Bryan, but the confrontation ended in her murder. Her death became another casualty of the cartel conspiracy surrounding Bryan, David Jennings, and the drug shipments moving through San Pedro. The information she provided nevertheless helped Brett expose the operation and warn James Blackthorne before the cartel could complete its plans.
