The Woman Who Built a New Life: Kelly Kahoano was the daughter of Leilani Kahoano and former Marine Matthew Wheland. Raised in Honolulu, she eventually left Hawaii behind and became part of the Blackthorne family through her long and complicated relationship with Stormy Blackthorne.

Kelly and Stormy shared a son, R.J., though fear that motherhood would damage her career once led Kelly to give up the baby and conceal the truth. The deception caused months of pain before R.J.’s identity was finally revealed. Although Kelly and Stormy did not remain together, they eventually built a more stable relationship as parents.

Professionally, Kelly became a valued member of the Miranda Blackthorne Agency. Her instincts helped discover promising talent, including struggling actor Riley Weir, whose career she helped launch. She remained loyal to Miranda even as the scandal surrounding Nico Bravetti destroyed the agency and forced it to close.
