The Porn Star Husband Who Wouldn’t Let Go: Philip was Brooke Taylor’s first husband, though their marriage appeared to be over by the time she became involved with James Blackthorne. Brooke believed she had divorced Philip and moved on with her life, but Alex later uncovered that the divorce had never been legally finalized. Alex brought Philip to Los Angeles to expose the truth, invalidating Brooke’s marriage to James and throwing their relationship into turmoil.

Determined to correct the mistake, Brooke traveled to the Dominican Republic to secure a quick divorce from Philip. Although the marriage was eventually dissolved, Philip remained unable—or unwilling—to accept that Brooke no longer belonged to him. When she ran away from James and Ethan, James found her staying at Philip’s apartment in Phoenix. Brooke eventually returned to Los Angeles with James, but Philip’s fixation on her continued.

Philip’s obsession reached its most dangerous point when he kidnapped Brooke and took her to Alex’s remote cabin in Big Bear during a severe snowstorm. Trapped and heavily pregnant, Brooke went into labor and gave birth to Michael while being held captive. She and the baby were eventually rescued, but the ordeal established Philip as more than a resentful former husband. His refusal to release Brooke had become dangerous and violent.

After losing Brooke, Philip reinvented himself within the adult-film industry and became a rising name in pornography. His new career brought him into contact with director Joel Armitage and eventually placed him at the center of a cruel plot against Heather Rydell. Heather was drugged under the pretense of attending an audition and filmed having sex with Philip and another man while she was unable to consent.

Philip later boasted about the encounter at one of Jordan Rydell’s parties, showing little concern for what had been done to Heather. Enraged by his callousness and the exploitation of his daughter, Jordan attacked him. The confrontation led Jordan and Stormy to investigate Joel, who admitted that Will Thomerson had hired him to arrange and record the assault as revenge against Heather.
