The Mob Wife with a Secret Life: Sharon Dyer was an accomplished interior designer whose elegance, restraint, and quiet confidence immediately intrigued Brett Armstrong. After repeatedly encountering her around Los Angeles, Brett hired Sharon to renovate his home—partly because he admired her work and partly because he wanted an excuse to spend more time with her.

Their attraction grew despite Sharon’s revelation that she was married. She tried to maintain professional boundaries, but the connection between them eventually became impossible to ignore. Brett and Sharon began an affair, allowing themselves a private world far removed from the complications surrounding both of their lives.

Brett later discovered that Sharon’s husband was Carlo Bravetti, the powerful patriarch of the Bravetti crime family. The revelation also made Mickey Donovan her stepson and placed Sharon at the center of the same criminal dynasty that had been blackmailing Brett and using Rydell Productions to launder money.

Despite understanding the danger, Brett could not walk away. After losing his position at Rydell Productions, he admitted that he loved Sharon and suggested they leave Los Angeles together. Sharon confessed that she loved him as well but refused to abandon her marriage or encourage Brett to leave his daughter, Violet.

Sharon’s relationship with Carlo remained complex. As his polished and socially respected wife, she occupied a privileged place within the Bravetti family while remaining largely removed from the visible violence surrounding its business. Her affair with Brett, however, threatened both the security of that life and Carlo’s expectation of loyalty.

Unbeknownst to Sharon and Brett, Carlo had already become suspicious. Bruno and Dennis secretly photographed the lovers embracing and kissing inside Brett’s home. After seeing the evidence, Carlo quietly announced that he had plans for both of them.
