Her life ended on the night Nico Bravetti was released from prison. Nico broke into Zoanne’s home looking for weapons and discovered both Zoanne and her younger lover, Ty Stratton, already dead inside. Confused and unstable after years in prison, Nico feared that his alter ego, “The Beast,” might somehow have killed them, though he had only stumbled upon the crime scene and stolen Zoanne’s guns.

Detective Carver later reopened the investigation, uncovering secret payments, troubling blood-spatter patterns, and evidence that more than one person had been present. The key clue came from an accidental photograph on Ty’s phone, which captured a gold Silverdale Telepictures ring near the scene.

The truth was finally traced back to Franklin. He had gone to Zoanne’s house with another blackmail payment, struggled with her over a gun, and shot her. When Ty arrived and witnessed the murder, Franklin killed him as well. His confession exposed not only the real killer, but also the hypocrisy behind Silverdale’s public image.
